🚗Getting there & parking

  • Roads along the route (Woods Hole to the Heights) close on race morning — expect closures from early.
  • Park well away and plan to walk or bike in; the Shining Sea Bikeway parallels part of the course.
  • The race runs shuttles from off-site lots — check the official site for the current pickup points and times.

👀Where to watch

  • The start — Woods Hole — By the harbor on Water St, where the gun goes off; get there early, the village is tight.
  • Nobska Lighthouse — The iconic climb around mile 1 — the hardest early hill and the best ocean view on the course; a classic spectator perch.
  • Surf Drive — The flat middle miles run right along the Sound — easy shoreline viewing away from the crowds.
  • The finish — Falmouth Heights — Grand Ave and the final hill up to the Heights: the biggest crowd and the finish-line scene.
  • Falmouth Heights Beach — The post-race party spills onto the beach and the Grand Ave lawns.

🎟️Running it?

  • Entry is by spring lottery (plus charity and race-team bibs) — the 2026 lottery closed in May. General registration opens in spring; check the official site for the current window.
